Melori Music ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Melori Music Platform, available at melorimusic.org and as a mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Profile information — stage name, genre, bio, and social links if you create an artist profile.
• Payment information — subscription and payment data is processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID; we never store full card numbers or bank details.
• Usage data — pages visited, tracks played, and features used, to improve the platform.
• Device information — browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process subscription payments and provide access to paid content
• To send transactional emails (welcome, subscription confirmation, password reset) via Resend
• To display artist profiles and releases on the platform
• To improve platform performance and user experience
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we use OAuth 2.0 via Google's authentication service. We receive only your name and email address. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services. You can revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Payments & Stripe

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. Melori Music receives only a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status. View Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The service worker may cache app shell resources in your browser for performance.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Payment records may be retained as required by law.

7. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We implement security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options) and regular security reviews.

8. Children's Privacy

Melori Music is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
